A false fire alarm in a tube car that began to fill with smoke caused panic among passengers, who broke windows and forced the coach out of the carriage at a station in South London.
Videos circulating on social media show dozens of people panicking as they try to get out of the carriage at Clapham Common station.

Despite the incident, there were no reports of injuries, according to the British Transport Police (BTP), quoted by the BBC.
A Transport for London (TfL) spokesperson said that “firefighters attended and confirmed there was no fire”.
The alarm at the station was said to have been caused by a mechanical failure of a fan on the train, the London transport company told the BBC.
