“Minsk, as its immediate neighbor, is interested in participating in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on a strategic peace agreement and is ready to create all the necessary conditions for its continuation, including on Belarusian soil,” he said.
the minister assured that Belarus did not send any soldier or any kind of weaponry into Ukrainian territory to participate in the war, This is reported by the Russian news agency TASS.
In this way, he bluntly dismissed the West’s accusations about its alleged participation in the conflict and pointed to the reports of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), which confirm this.
“Independent OSCE experts confirm that Belarus is not part of an international armed conflict, in accordance with the norms and principles of international law. All accusations against Belarus by the West are unfounded,” the minister emphasized.
Still, the diplomatic representative confirmed that although Minsk is not participating in the war, it has obligations to its allies.
