King Mohamed VI led this Wednesday at the Royal Palace of Rabat the presentation of the first vehicle from a car manufacturer in Morocco, as well as a prototype of a hydrogen car developed by a Moroccan.
The official Moroccan news agency MAP reported on these two projects, which aim to promote the production of cars developed in the North African state.
The first car was developed by Neo Motors, a company with Moroccan capital, and the prototype of the hydrogen vehicle by Namx.
Neo Motors has launched a factory in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, which will open in June, designed to produce 27,000 units per year, first for the local market and then for export. The investment has been 14 million euros and the creation of 580 jobs is expected.
As for the Namx project, it was detailed that it was conceived in collaboration with the Italians from Pininfarina.
