Last night, Russia launched a total of 30 missiles of various types against different regions of Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defenses shooting down 29 missiles, according to a statement from the Kyiv Air Force.
“Since 9 p.m. on May 17 [quarta-feira] (19:00 in Lisbon) until 05:30 on May 18 [hoje]the Russian occupiers launched several waves of missiles from different directions,” the official note says, adding that the missiles were cruise missiles projected from land, sea and air.

The Kiev military administration had already reported during the night the destruction of all missiles and unmanned aerial reconnaissance equipment (drones) designed by Russia against Kiev.
Several explosions were heard in the capital last night, just like the night before.
In Odessa, on the Black Sea coast, the local military administration has indicated that a civilian has been killed in a Russian attack.
The rockets also hit the Mykolaiv province in southern Ukraine, causing a fire.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian Shahid-136/131 offensive drones and two tactical reconnaissance drones were also neutralized.”
