British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says the West is prepared to support Ukraine “for years”.
In a speech at a defense conference in London, Rishi Sunak said the Russian strategy of “waiting” for Europeans and Americans to get “bored and tired” of war “is not going to work.”
The British leader also reveals that he is working with allies to establish several long-term “multilateral and bilateral” security agreements with Ukraine.
The Ukrainian counteroffensive has “every chance of success”, as it has had in the last year, says Rishi Sunak, quoted by the Financial Times newspaper.
For Russia, he adds, “the best strategy is to withdraw and stop the conflict.”
