Actor Robert Cormier has died at the age of 33. He was known for his participation in the Netflix series ‘Heartland’ and ‘Slasher’. The Canadian died last Friday, but the news of his death was not released until Tuesday night by People magazine.
The released statement highlights the actor’s passion for “art and cinema”, as well as for his three sisters, “who meant the world” to Robert.
He was also remembered as “an athlete, an actor and an older brother”. “He was passionate about helping others and was always looking to achieve more. He enjoyed movie nights with his family and greatly admired his father.”
In social networks, the team of the series where Robert played Finn Cotter lamented the death of the actor. “We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Robert Cormier. (…) Our thoughts are with him and his family, who have requested privacy at this difficult time,” it read.
The causes of death were not revealed. But, according to NBC News, the sister told the agent that Robert died at Etobicoke hospital from injuries sustained in a fall.
