Spanish police found body hidden between walls

The Spanish national police found a body hidden between two walls in an apartment in Torremolinos, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia, and released video of the moment on Wednesday.

At first it is possible to see a cop trying to break the wall. In a second instance you can see the wooden box covered with chalk and plastic where the body was hidden.

It is suspected that the remains found belong to a young Italian woman who has appeared since 2014, Sibora Gagani.

“For example, behind a wall in a villa in Torremolinos, our agents discovered the human remains that may have belonged to a woman who disappeared in 2014,” the Spanish police said in the description of the video.

At the same time, the Spanish press reported that Sibora Gagani’s body had been found in a wooden box between two walls in the apartment the young woman shared with her partner, Marco R., a 45-year-old Italian, who confessed to the crime in late May after he was arrested for the murder of another woman with 14 stab wounds.

Although he went on the run after the most recent crime, Marco R. was arrested and already at the police station saw a photo of Sibora Gagani on a missing persons poster and decided to confess to the crime, after also revealing that he used acid to make the body disappear, which he then placed between two walls.

The Spanish police found the body through an X-ray system, after several visits to the apartment, which has been occupied by several tenants since 2014.

The remains were transported to the Instituto de Medicina Legal de Málaga for autopsy and identification.
