At least three people were killed and 26 injured in a Russian airstrike with missiles and drones that took place overnight on residential areas in the Odessa region of southern Ukraine.
The Odessa Regional Military Administration denounced Shahed-136 and Shahed-131 kamikaze drone attacks.
Despite air defenses in the area destroying the devices, the fragments ended up in a residential building in the area, causing a fire that is now under control.

Among the injured are three children, with a poor prognosis, according to a preliminary assessment by the administration collected by the Ukrainian portal Real Gazeta.
Meanwhile, Crimea leader Serguei Axionov assured that Russian anti-aircraft systems this Saturday shot down ballistic missiles launched by Ukraine over the annexed peninsula.
“In the morning, air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian Grom-2 ballistic missiles,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.
In recent weeks, local authorities have reported several large-scale drone and missile attacks on the peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014.
One of the enemy’s main targets is the base of the Black Sea Fleet, in the city of Sevastopol, which was supposed to strengthen land, sea and air protection.
