Three people were killed in Nottingham, UK, on Tuesday in what police believe was a deliberate hit-and-run.
A 31-year-old man was arrested after police were called to Milton Street at 4am because the suspect allegedly tried to run over three people, who were hospitalised. Three bodies were later found on two other roads and authorities believe all the cases are linked.
“We believe all three incidents are related and we have a man in custody,” Police Chief Kate Meynell said in a statement. “This investigation is in the early stages and a team of detectives is working to establish exactly what happened,” she adds.
Several roads are closed in the center of the city. On Twitter, the county police write that a “serious incident” is taking place in the city.
Officers are currently in an ongoing serious incident.

ilkeston Road,
Milton Street,
Magdalena street,
maple street,
Woodborough Road from the Magdala Road junction into the city,
Cross Maid Marian Way from Parliament Street.

Also the Nottingham Express Transit transport network announced that it suspended all services due to “police incidents in the city and suburbs”.
