On June 1, the Council of State gave the government two months to define the technical procedures to organize this technical inspection, in accordance with a European obligation that dates from 2014 but has never been applied in France.
The Government plans to introduce technical control of motorized two-wheeled vehicles gradually from “early 2024”, and intends to make it “as cheap and simple as possible” for owners, the Ministry of Transport announced this Saturday.
