After an increase the previous week, fuel prices are once again trending downward. According to figures published this Monday by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and closed on October 27, the prices of unleaded 95-E10 and diesel registered a drop last week, approaching the levels of previous weeks due to the generalization of sales at cost price. .
Almost 3 cents less per liter of diesel
After registering its biggest increase the previous week, diesel registered the biggest decrease here, with 2.8 cents less per liter. The average price of a liter of diesel thus stands at 1.8542 euros this week, compared to more than 1.88 euros seven days earlier.
The price of a liter of gasoline fell very slightly, to less than 0.6 cents. Therefore, a liter of unleaded 95-E10 sells on average for 1.8249 euros.
This slight decrease is explained, in particular, by the drop in the price of a barrel of North Sea Brent, around $90. The barrel had risen the previous week as a result of the Hamas attack against Israel and international tensions.
