After several consecutive weeks of decline, fuel prices began to rise slightly again last week.
Diesel thus rose 0.2 cents, to 1.7832 euros per liter, and unleaded 95-E10 gained 0.6 cents, to 1.7886 euros per liter, according to the weekly statement from the Ministry of Health Energy Transition with prices set for December 1st.

Looking at the historical curve below, fuel prices remain at relatively low levels over the recent period. Diesel had once again exceeded the symbolic threshold of 1.80 euros per liter at the beginning of August and gasoline almost since the beginning of the year.
The two most consumed fuels in France fell last week below this level of 1.80 euros.
However, the price of a barrel of North Sea Brent fell last week to $81.1. In a rather gloomy economic context, crude oil prices are on a downward trend, despite the announcement by OPEC+ countries to further reduce production.
