Work or school trips

At the same time, attendance on weekends and in peri-urban and rural areas is stagnating. In other words, national practice “progresses thanks to utilitarian practice”, when traveling to work or school, notes Vélo & Territoires.

They are representative of the 1,500 counters of the National Assistance Platform, which is due to publish a complete barometer in the spring. In detail, the counters record 1,345 steps per day on average in urban areas compared to 216 in peri-urban areas and 133 in rural areas.
