Fuel shortage: the situation improves, 21.9% of service stations in difficulty

This Wednesday, October 19 at noon, less than 22% of the service stations were in difficulty. Better, with large regional disparities.

There are more and more pumps working: at noon, 21.9% of the service stations were in difficulty in national territory according to the Ministry of Energy Transition. Better then, when they were 24.8% on Tuesday and 28.1% on Monday.

But not all territories are in the same boat. It is in Burgundy-France-Comté where the situation is more tense, with 37% of stations in difficulty, compared to 40.2% the day before.

In Hauts-de-France, particularly affected at the beginning of the movement, it is now much less complicated to refuel, with 16.6% of stations in difficulty.

Ile-de France continues to be particularly affected, with 33% of stations not yet distributing all fuels.

The situation should improve, with the lifting of the strike announced by the CGT at the Donges Refinery, as well as a crisis resolution protocol.
