In 2023, as expected, phones will still be in first place, followed by wallets and sets of keys. Shoes, scarves and clothes were also routinely forgotten in the back seat.
Among the most unusual objects, we find a rugby shirt autographed by a player of the French XV, Gaël Fickou, the identity document of an American actor who acted in High School Musical or even 560 euros in cash. Also worth mentioning is a Louis Vuitton dog collar and leash, a Nintendo Switch game console, a trumpet, a blonde wig, a dental splint, a tool box, a travel cot, a scooter, pétanque balls, a rain boot ( By itself). ) or a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Rennes, Angers, Toulon
The weekend is the most conducive to relaxation. According to the VTC company, Saturday, Sunday and Friday are the days when there are the most forgotten objects in vehicles. And the most surprised, in proportion to the number of races, are the inhabitants of Rennes, followed by Angers and Toulon (the latter city took first place the previous year). Avignon, Clermont-Ferrand, Bordeaux, Perpignan, Nantes, Toulouse and finally Nice follow in tenth place.
From now on, if a passenger requests a forgotten item from the application, Uber applies a fee of 22 euros in case of personal delivery by the driver. These fees are paid to the driver as compensation for the time spent returning the item. However, there is no charge if the item is dropped off at a police station or lost and found office.
