Slight drop after strong rise
The previous week, the price of diesel had risen 11.8 cents and that of gasoline 7.3 cents. The decrease in the price of a barrel of Brent from the North Sea also explains this slight decrease in prices at the pump: it was trading this Friday at 91.1 dollars.
Fuel shortage: a situation still unclear
In terms of fuel availability, the situation seemed to improve last week. If the situation still seemed tense in some regions -Ile-de-France, Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes-, in particular with departures for the All Saints festivities, the Minister of Transport spoke this Monday on the tomorrow “of a little more than 10% of the stations in difficulty” at the national level, compared to 30% the previous Monday.
