“Nothing should be excluded.” Carlos Tavares, head of Stellantis, does not rule out the closure of factories within his group, while Chinese manufacturers increase their announcements of opening production centers in Europe, he told the newspaper Les Echos on Sunday.
“Closing the borders to Chinese products is a trap (…) They will overcome the barriers by investing in factories in Europe, which will be financed in part by state subsidies, in low-cost countries,” explained the general director of China. Stellantis.
