A diesel at 1.66 euros per liter on average in France, a 95-E10 without thick to 1.71 euros per liter: fuel prices have been down since the beginning of the year. This is shown in the weekly pricing statement in the Bomb of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, arrested on Friday, March 7.
This oscillation between 1.65 and 1.70 euros per liter leaves a little respite to motorists’ wallets, at least they have the sensation.
A barrel that has retreated 16% since the beginning of the year
But when taking a little decrease, this fall is still quite limited: -1.2% in diesel since the beginning of the year and -2.5% in the Sans -Plomb 95 -E10.
Above all, this decrease remains much lower than that of oil prices: about 16% since the beginning of the year, with a barrel spent from 88 to 68 dollars.
The main reason presented by professionals: a slower impact of the decrease in prices in prices in service stations, unlike oil prices. In fact, a fortnight is needed to see the effects on the pump and it is estimated that a drop in one causes a decrease in a penny.
Good news: the fall in oil prices could continue to fall at 60 dollars from the barrel. What to expect new price drops falls in the coming weeks?
