Several hundred protesters gathered this Saturday, March 29, in front of Tesla stores in the United States, as part of a world day of the opposition in Elon Musk, the head of the automotive brand and near Donald Trump.
In front of the New York store in Manhattan, between 500 and 1,000 people requested the resignation of the richest man on the planet, now at the head of a government efficiency commission (Doge), responsible for President Trump to track fraud and reduce the expenses considered unnecessary of the federal budget.
These protesters gathered in the particular call of Planet about benefit environmentalists, for whom “arresting Musk will allow him to save lives and protect our democracy.”
“We destroy my country and musk is responsible for it”
“Elon Musk must leave,” they sang in the choir, in front of one of the 200 Tesla stores in the United States and Europe, where calls for the rally have been released.
For Amy Neifeld, an 70 -year -old American psychologist who had not overcome the pavement from the manifestations against the Vietnam War in the 1970s, Elon Musk took the United States to “fascism.”
“I am Jewish and I grew up with a deep awareness of what fascism is. And that is only getting worse from Donald Trump’s elections,” he explains to the AFP.
“We have to do something very fast, because he is very fast,” adds Amy Neifeld.
“We destroy my country and the musk is responsible for it,” abounds Hudson Fisher (his name as a blogger), with a sign around the neck where we can read: “Trump is a poor vice president”, which suggests that Elon Musk, also head of Spacex, has the power reins.
“It has too much money and power. It has more power than governments without controlling. This is the real danger,” he said.
Important police device
The New York demonstration, supervised by an important police device, took place and then dispersed in peace, as well as that of Washington, where some 150 people met in a festive atmosphere.
“Virez Musk, Close Dege”, could also be read on signs of the US capital.
When asked about these manifestations, Tesla did not respond immediately. For several weeks, acts of vandalism and protest have multiplied against Tesla, due to the political participation of Elon Musk.
The United States government now considers attacks against Tesla as “internal terrorism”, as the Minister of Justice recalled this week Pam Bondi.
On Thursday, an American suspected of having burned five Tesla vehicles and having curled them with a semi -automatic rifle in Las Vegas was placed in preventive detention and faces 20 years in prison for these events.
