“Total improvisation”. “Fourteen months that last”
“We are still in a guy, unfortunately, of the most total improvisation since fourteen months have passed since it lasts,” Marie-Amandine Stévenin deplored.
“And last year, the difficulty was to tell us, when we demand in an emergency more repairs, than the repair lines, it was bottled. So in a year, it is unfortunate that there is no solution that has been taken,” the latter continues.

Thirty brands affected by retirement
The Ministry also summoned Citroën’s leaders and launched an inspection mission. “For six months, Philippe Tabarot has initiated unprecedented actions to strengthen the control exercised in manufacturers and accelerate the reminders of risk vehicles,” the ministry said yesterday in a press release, in particular placing the information campaigns and the dedicated platform.
“We have an organization in France, it is the manufacturers’ gendarme, a vehicle and engines market monitoring service, we would like to know what role we played. We ask that the entire chain of responsibility be investigated or analyzed,” says Marie-Amandine Stévenin.
The UFC that Choisir had filed a complaint at the beginning of the year, against Stellantis “and then against the other manufacturers because there are also BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Toyota, who are worried.” The Association also requested the creation of a Parliamentary Investigation Commission.
200 models and 30 brands are affected today by this removal of vehicles equipped with defective airbags from Takata.
