Electric cars with European aggression: the government announces an additional bonus of 1,000 euros

The Government announces on Monday that this bond will pay for buyers of an electric car fed by a battery gathered in Europe.

The Government announces on Monday that it will pay an additional bonus of 1,000 euros to buyers of an electric cars fed by a European battery.

“To continue supporting the purchase of electric vehicles from homes and the transition from the automotive sector in Europe, the Government announces the establishment, as of October 1, an additional bonus of 1,000 euros for the purchase of virtuous electric vehicles for the environment, as soon as they are assembled in Europe and with a European battery,” said a press release from the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Up to 5,200 euros in a total of bonds

After increasing the ecological bonus since July 1, the press release specifies that this help of 1,000 euros will be added to this existing aid.

The ecological bonus increased from 2,000 to 3,100 euros for most buyers (no income conditions) and can reach 4,200 euros for less rich households.

By adding, the 1,000 euros for cars with a battery assembled in Europe, the maximum aid, therefore, reaches 5,200 euros and 4,100 euros without income conditions.

The measure seems to be applied immediately, with a “list of eligible vehicles that will be published on the Ademe website in the next few days and will be updated every month at the same time as the list of vehicles that reach the minimum environmental score,” said the press release of the Ministry.

Support to European industry

“The premium announced today aims to promote the relocation of the value chain of electric vehicles and support industrial employment in our continent. Many manufacturing manufacturing batteries have been established in France and in Europe. This cousin will support these factories in its cadence rate, by encouraging manufacturers to obtain European factories,” the transition of the ecological transition will sublaz.

Most car groups such as Stellantis, the Renault group, or more recently Toyota, have begun or announced their intention to embark on the production of electric cars in Europe.
