Renault: Clotilde Delbos announces her resignation

Figure in the recent history of the manufacturer, the current CEO of the Mobilize brand will be replaced by Fedra Ribeiro.

Clotilde Delbos, general director of the new Renault mobility brand and one of the figures of the diamond group since the end of the Ghosn years, has resigned. She will leave the manufacturer on December 31st.

Fedra Ribeiro (Mobilize COO) will take over on an interim basis at Mobilize, while Patrick Claude, the automaker’s director of financial services, will take over at RCI Banque.

“I think (…) I have made my contribution to the recovery of the group,” said Clotilde Delbos, quoted in a press release. “Renault is now positioned at the forefront of the automotive industry and I am convinced that Mobilize and its teams will lead this.”

At the heart of Renault’s shakeup

“I would like to thank Clotilde for the way she welcomed me into the Group two years ago and for her commitment to the Groupe Renault Board of Directors. Her professionalism allowed the Mobilize brand to launch strongly. I wish Clotilde success in his new projects, and I am sure that Fedra will continue to develop the activities of Mobilize Beyond Automotive with talent,” said Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault group in a press release.

Craftsman of the operational transition with CEO Luca de Meo after Carlos Ghosn’s fall from grace, Clotilde Delbos was Renault’s chief financial officer between 2016 and 2022, a period of turbulence and restructuring for the group.

Interim CEO since October 2019, after Thierry Bolloré’s own interim, Deputy CEO from 2020, this figure in the recent history of Renault has been promoting Mobilize, a brand called to play an increasingly important role within the cluster.

The latter presented a vast reorganization around five pillars, including one dedicated to electric vehicles, last month and is engaged in lengthy discussions to modify the structure of its alliance with Nissan.
