The continued fall in oil prices allows fuel prices to continue to fall in France. For the third consecutive week, these prices thus present a downward trend according to the figures from the Ministry of Ecological Transition published this Monday and closed on Friday, December 9.
During the past week, the liter of Super SP95-E10 thus decreased on average by 5.5 cents to 1.6397 euros, while the liter of diesel stood at 1.732 euros per liter on average, that is, a decrease of 8 8 cents per week.
This is enough to offset the drop in rebates (from 30 to 10 cents) on Totalenergies and government pumps on November 15.
New assignment
Remember that next January the sales will have disappeared. The State will then pay a new fuel allowance of 100 euros for the poorest 10 million French people who need their car to go to work.
This aid will be paid in one go and, ultimately, will only take into account two criteria: income and the fact of owning a car, and no longer the number of kilometers driven.
“It is a very simple device, you go to the tax office, enter your NIF, your license plate, an affidavit that you need your car to go to work and 100 euros arrive directly to your bank account”, explained the Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne. .
This help will be personal and not per household. In other words, a modest couple (among the first 5 deciles) who works and has two cars will be able to benefit from 200 euros of help.
