“To support a greater number of French people in buying bicycles, the eligibility thresholds will be raised, from January 1, 2023, to cover 50% of the most modest households,” explained the Ministry of Ecological Transition in a press release. , confirming an announcement made at the end of September.
The eligibility threshold for this bonus on the purchase of a bicycle, which can reach 300 euros, will rise to a “reference tax income per share of less than 14,089 euros, compared to the current 13,489 euros”, according to the same fountain.
The conditions for granting the reinforced bonus of 400 euros, intended for people in precarious situations and the disabled, will also be extended next year, from 6,300 to 6,358 euros the tax reference threshold for income per share.

“Bicycling is a real solution for getting around short distances without polluting and fully contributes to the ecological transition. This transition must be accessible to all French people.
