“The limit of the 5th decile corresponds to an annual reference tax income per share of less than 14,700 euros,” says the government on the service-public.fr site.
This corresponds, in detail, to an income of less than 1,314 euros net per month for a single person and 3,285 euros net per month for a couple with one child or for a single person with two children.
For a couple with two children, the monthly household income must not exceed 3,941 euros net. This threshold increases to 5,255 euros net for a couple with three children.
Help per person, not per household
“This compensation is paid per person and not per household”, specifies the service-public.fr site. That is, each member of the household who takes his car to work will be able to receive the compensation.
Eligible individuals must request on-site fuel assistance impots.gouv.fr and indicate your tax identification number, license plate and vehicle registration number. Finally, they must complete an affidavit indicating that they use their vehicle to go to work.
A dedicated space on the tax platform should be brought online from January 16, 2023.
