What were the best-selling new cars in France last year? Despite a nearly 8% decline last year, some vehicles have managed to stay or break into the top 10.
Behind the Peugeot 208, we thus find the Dacia Sandero, which allows itself to duplicate its cousin from the Renault group, the Clio. It should be noted that sales of the Peugeot 208 include those of its 100% electric version (19,222 copies sold and are found in our specific category ranking).
Although it has established itself for several years as the most purchased car by individuals in Europe, the Sandero only ranked fourth in this ranking across all sales channels in France in 2021, behind the Peugeot 208, Renault Clio and Peugeot 2008.
In its first full year on the market, the third-generation Peugeot 308 also returned to the top 10, ranking seventh.
In the rest of the ranking, we can also highlight the good performance of the Renault Arkana, which is ranked 11th, just behind the Dacia Duster, with 31,638 units sold, 76% more than in 2021, the year of its launch.
