Something to confuse more than one fan, with this Mustang Mach-E, which in addition to adopting a 100% electric motorization, takes the form of an SUV. Almost a double sacrilege, but fully assumed by Ford in its low carbon strategy, particularly in Europe, where the brand is aiming for a zero-emission range only by 2030.

But the Mustang, the real thing, with a big V8 under the hood, lives on. Well, we’ll be back this Thursday. In the Detroit show that has just opened its doors, Ford has just presented the 7th generation, which will arrive in Europe at the end of 2023.

The Mustang will continue to be offered in two body versions, the “fastback” coupe or the “open top” convertible. The 5-liter V8 engine is still there, with a fourth generation “that even offers improved response and performance,” underlines the Ford press release, which does not specify its power, a priori still close to the 450 horsepower of the generation. previous.
