With the Topolino, Fiat presents its Ami Dolce Vita version

Fiat has revealed the name and the first photograph of its new sustainable urban mobility offer: the Fiat Topolino.

Citroën’s AMI will have to share the road with Fiat’s Topolino. Stellantis, owner of the Citroën and Fiat brands, is trying to repeat its success in Italy. The small electric city car without a license plate has just been presented by the Italian manufacturer.

“The new Fiat Topolino perfectly embodies the Dolce Vita and the Italian spirit of Fiat,” says Fiat in its press release.

As can be seen in the photo released by the brand, the Topolino wants to offer pleasure. His name also refers, not to the Federico Fellini film, but to Disney to better attract young people. It is the translation of Mickey into Italian and on his grill he sports the smile of the internationally known mouse.

The Fiat 500 experience

However, this little car looks like a Fiat 500, the most popular car in Italy, to go beyond a young clientele.

“This new quadricycle is a new means of electric mobility designed for a wide audience, especially the youngest, families and city dwellers.”

At the moment, we do not know more about the power of its engine and the autonomy of its batteries. Its price remains secret. It also remains to be seen when it will be presented and when we will be able to test it.

In France, the AMI, which has known its public, already has a competitor with the Myli de Ligier, a car without a license whose interior has everything of a sedan.
