The Government announced this Tuesday that it would keep its promise to put the single window for companies into full operation at the end of June, after six months of difficulties, while keeping other channels open for certain administrative procedures until December 31.
“The changes made to the counter both at a technical level (in terms of safety and performance) and ergonomics have already borne fruit, so the processing time for procedures has been improved,” the Government said in a statement.
700,000 paperwork submissions have been made
It adds that until the end of the year, the procedures for modification and extinction may “continue to be carried out through Infogreffe or in paper format”, these two routes having been reopened due to the impossibility or great difficulty of carrying out certain procedures on the site administered by the Institute. National Intellectual Property (Inpi).
More than 700,000 presentations of procedures have been made at the single window since January 1, including 630,000 creations, 60,000 presentations of accounts, 30,000 cancellations of activity and 4,000 modifications of natural persons, according to the press release.
According to the provisions of the Pacte law of 2019, the electronic single window had opened on January 1, 2023, but its multiple failures have been denounced by professionals who carry out procedures on behalf of companies, such as public accountants and auditors.
For its part, the National Institute of Statistics (Insee) also pointed out last month that the establishment of this window since January “temporarily weakens the monthly monitoring of company creation” and that its figures on the subject should be interpreted “with great caution “.
However, registering company formation was the fastest working approach on the platform, which was supposed to make life easier for companies.
