The US carrier UPS, which delivers letters and packages, and the powerful Teamsters union organization announced an agreement on Tuesday after tense wage negotiations, which eliminates the risk of a major strike in the United States.
They had until July 31 to agree on the next collective agreement, which concerns the union’s 340,000 members. This agreement must be submitted to an employee vote between August 3 and 22.
