Germany managed to emerge from the winter recession in the second quarter of 2023 with its gross domestic product (GDP) stagnating in the second quarter, the Destatis institute said on Friday.
The gross domestic product (GDP) of Europe’s largest economy recorded zero growth between April and June in a quarter, according to final data, confirming an initial estimate from the end of July.
It had fallen successively 0.4% and 0.1% in the two previous quarters, according to seasonally adjusted data (CVS).
