The renovation and transformation plan for the six Disneyland Paris hotels comes to an end. On January 25, 2024, the luxurious Disneyland Hotel will reopen the doors of its 487 rooms to visitors after almost two and a half years of work, according to indications The Parisian. Opened with the opening of Disneyland Paris in April 1992, the five-star hotel features 346 “superior” rooms, 16 exclusive suites, a princely suite and a royal suite with a “Disney royalty” theme. It will incorporate references from cartoons such as Merlin the Wizard, the Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and even Moana the Legend. These thirty months of work also allowed the installation in the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel of a chandelier six meters high, four meters in diameter and 11 meters long, weighing more than a ton.
The hotel’s restaurant, the Table de Lumière, has been redesigned as a “ballroom” with a decoration inspired by the hall of mirrors at the Palace of Versailles where French cuisine will be offered. Children will also have the right to an exclusive space and a spa is also planned. Finally, guests will be able to interact with Royal Disney Troupe actors for the most immersive experience possible.
On the other hand, this experience will have a significant cost. For the first booking weeks in February, prices range between 810 and 1,350 euros… per night. These prices for two people include access for two days to the two parks of the Disneyland Paris complex.
The two largest hotels were renovated first.
If it is the most luxurious hotel establishment in Disneyland Paris, the Disneyland Hotel is far from the largest. This place is occupied by the Newport Bay Club, which has about 1,100 rooms and suites, closely followed by the Cheyenne Hotel with its 1,000 rooms. These two hotels inaugurated the major renovation phase that began in the fall of 2017 before extending to the 592 rooms and suites of the New York Hotel, which was completely redecorated with the theme of the Marvel universe.
In total, Disneyland Paris includes more than 4,700 rooms, suites and bungalows, including the Sequoia Lodge, the Santa Fe and the Davy Crockett Ranch campsite. An approximately similar number of rooms, suites and apartments are distributed among the ten partner hotels and residences located in the immediate vicinity of Disneyland Paris.
