The European Union suspended all payments of its development aid to the Palestinians and decided to reassess all its current programs, which represent a total of 691 million euros, European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi announced on Monday.
“All payments were suspended immediately, all projects were re-examined, all budgets relating to the projects, including the one for 2023, were postponed until further notice, the entire program was re-evaluated,” said the Hungarian commissioner responsible for neighborhood and enlargement, in X (formerly Twitter).
