Revaluation of complementary pensions: green light from the majority of unions

A few months after the end of the social sequence around the pension reform, the CFDT, the CFTC and Force Ouvrière reached an agreement to improve supplementary pensions.

Three unions (CFDT, CFTC, FO), representing the majority of private sector workers, announced on Monday that they would sign the new agreement on Agirc-Arrco supplementary pensions, which refers in particular to an increase in supplementary pensions from 4.9% on November 1.

The CGT and the CFE-CGC must still communicate their decision after consulting their authorities, but a non-signature would not call into question the validity of the agreement. On the part of employers, Medef (which alone represents more than half of business organizations) has already spoken favorably.
