“It is a feeling of incomprehension that dominates us,” explained Christopher Sullivan, president of Acteurs de la Compétence, this Monday, October 30, on BFM Business. The president of the first federation of training organizations, which brings together more than 1,400 companies, reacted to the return of the idea of paying a remainder to the personal training account (CPF).
The idea of co-payment is not new, it had already been integrated into last year’s finance bill. But since then the application decree is still awaited. Annoyed, the majority deputies pressured by Bercy to save won their case: the government promised to introduce the rest quickly.
A tool to ensure professional careers
The president of the Acteurs de la Compétence regretted this measure all the more as it comes at a time when resorting to the CPF system is particularly useful.
He added that the CPF represented “an absolutely fantastic tool for securing professional careers”. Let us remember that six million French people have already benefited, the majority of whom are employees and workers, traditionally far from these training systems.
The conditions for establishing this additional responsibility should be defined during an organized consultation with the social partners and lead to the publication of a decree at the beginning of 2024.
