Air traffic controllers strike: a quarter of flights canceled on Monday in Paris-Orly and Toulouse

The DGAC asked companies to cancel several flights in Paris-Orly, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Marseille this Monday due to a strike by air traffic controllers.

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation on Thursday asked airlines to give up 25% of their Monday flight schedule at Paris-Orly, France’s second airport, and Toulouse-Blagnac, due to a strike call by several controller unions. air.

Airlines have also been asked to reduce their flights to Bordeaux-Mérignac and Marseille-Provence by 20%. The unions intend to protest against the adoption, on Wednesday, of a law that forces air traffic controllers to individually go on strike or not 48 hours before a social movement.
