The CGT, FO, Solidaires and FSU call for an interprofessional strike day for Tuesday

The national strike on October 18, first called by the CGT, gains strength. FO, Solidaires FSU and the youth organizations Fidl, Unef, MNL and La Vie lycéenne joined the movement.

The national strike that will take place on Tuesday, October 18, first at the call of the CGT, gains momentum. FO, Solidaires and FSU join the movement and call for an interprofessional strike day.

The CGT, FO, Solidaires, the FSU and the youth organizations Fidl, Unef, MNL and La Vie lycéenne called for this Tuesday a day of strikes and interprofessional demonstrations, according to a statement read during a press conference at the CGT headquarters this Thursday.

The workers are called to demonstrate for “salaries and the defense of the right to strike”, after the decision of the Government to requisition the workers of the oil industry to allow the distribution of fuel, according to this text.
