The group announced this decision through a letter to the staff, indicates AFP.

This plan, justified in particular by the losses suffered since 2021, was presented to the representative bodies of European workers.

“These proposals could potentially affect approximately 570 positions across all functions and in various countries in Europe,” GE announces in this letter. The group is present in this sector mainly in Germany, as well as in France and Spain.
