Cookie-loving consumers are called to be vigilant. The General Directorate of Competition, Consumption and Fraud Repression (DGCCRF) ordered this Thursday to withdraw the “Mika Oreo 5×37 grams” chocolate bars from the market due to “possible presence of plastic particles.”
The lot in question is OSK0934651. The cookies in question have been marketed since December 1, 2023 under various brands such as Action, Auchan, Leclerc, Match, Aldouest and Codifrance.
No other Milka or Oreo products affected
Consumers who have purchased these chocolate bars should not consume them. They are asked to contact the point of sale and “destroy the product.” They may also obtain a refund or exchange of the product.
The DGCCRF specifies that “no other product marketed by Mondelez International in France, Milka or Oreo, is affected by this recall.”
