Since then, Hubert Charle took his time, produced a short documentary, The cows will no longer have a name And let the inspiration come again. It comes out this Wednesday Climatein collaboration with Claude the Pope, presented in a certain guise at Cannes last May. On display, a trio of actors: Paul Kircher (The animal kingdom, their children after them...), Idir Azougli (Raw diamond…) and Salif Cissé (The answering machine….).
The film tells the great friendship between three young people from the “diagonal du vaca”, who live in a region, eastern France, marked by industrial decline. They have dreams, to establish a dog shelter in the meeting and little luck. After a new failed plan, Mika and Dan have to save themselves from their town and get out of the scent of alcohol. They find themselves working for the third party, Tony, who has become a local construction prince, in a nuclear trash can.
“Vacuum diagonal symbol”

The film also relies heavily on its three vibrant young actors, who met for the first time during the preparation of the feature film. Quickly, they formed a small band, in front of the camera, but not alone.
“Often, friendship only lasts for the moment of a film, but there, when we said goodbye at the end of filming, I didn’t have the impression that it was the last time we saw each other,” says Salif Cissé. “It was a pleasure to play together,” adds Paul Kircher, winner of the prestigious Marcello-Mastroianni award at the Venice Film Festival in 2024 for his role in Their children after them.
