Two out of three RATP unions have agreed to sign the agreement on mandatory annual negotiations that provides for a salary increase of 100 euros gross per month for all agents, the Régie announced on Tuesday. “The representative union organizations FO and UNSA signed the general management’s proposal,” RATP, which manages part of the public transport in Paris and its surroundings, said in a statement.
In reality, the salary increase will be carried out in two stages, first on June 1 for the first semester and then on December 1.
An incentive of at least 1,100 euros
FO-RATP, the group’s second union but first in management, highlighted “that in the most successful periods of the company, the maximum obtained was 45 euros (increase) for a salary of 3,000 euros.” The union also insisted on participation in the benefits that employees should receive in 2024, “a minimum of 1,100 euros.”
The CGT-RATP, the group’s first union, did not sign the proposal, which “is too far from the agents’ expectations.” The union estimates that with the staggering of the measure, the salary increase is actually equivalent to 1.3% compared to 2024. The CGT called for negotiations to continue. At the end of January, he filed a complaint that will run from February 5 to September 9, including the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, to denounce “insufficient” salary measures.
