The Head of the Italian Government, Giorgia Meloni, announced on Tuesday, October 7 in the afternoon that has been filed before the International Criminal Court (CPI) a complaint for “complicity in genocide” against her and two ministers, due to the support of Rome to Israel (CPI).
“I, Minister Crosetto (Guido, Defense), Minister Tajani (Antonio, Chief of Diplomacy) and I think that Leonardo’s general director, Roberto Cingolani, we have been the subject of a complaint before the International Criminal Court for complicity in genocide,” he said during a television program that will be broadcast towards Midnight, local time, and from which the media have published extracts.

“I don’t think there is another case in the world or in the history of a complaint like this,” he added. Leonardo is an Italian aeronautical and defense group.
The complaint, dated October 1, was written by a group that self -domers “jurists and lawyers for Palestine” and was signed by a fifty people, including law professors, lawyers and also some public personalities.
“With its support to the Israeli government, in particular through the supply of lethal weapons, the Italian government has become an accomplice of the ongoing genocide and the extremely serious war crimes and against humanity committed at the expense of the Palestinian population,” write the authors of the complaint.
They ask the ICC to evaluate the possibility of opening a formal investigation after their complaint.
