Emmanuel Macron, still vague about the contours of this “emergency plan”, indicated that the Ministers of Agriculture, as well as the Minister of the Economy, will bring together “starting Monday” at the “national” level all interested actors, i.e. , that is, banks, insurance companies and agrarian social mutual societies (MSA). A meeting that “will put pressure on them”, according to the head of state. Beyond agriculture, this emergency plan will also affect “some artisanal sectors.”
A census of farms in difficulty
In addition, “starting on Monday” a census of agricultural holdings in difficulty will be launched, region by region, which will make it possible to establish a “case-by-case system” in terms of treasury.
