Air France announced on Sunday that it was suspending its flights to Tel Aviv in Israel and Beirut in Lebanon until Monday “at least” in the face of renewed tension in the region.
On Sunday, Lebanese Hezbollah carried out a major drone and rocket attack against the Jewish state in retaliation for the assassination of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31, which Israel blames.
At the same time, around 100 Israeli aircraft attacked thousands of rocket launching pads aimed at northern Israel in 40 firing zones in southern Lebanon.
