Lufthansa extends suspension of flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran

In view of the risk of aggravating conflicts in the region, the German airline Lufthansa has once again extended the suspension of its flights to the Middle East.

German airline Lufthansa announced on Thursday that it would extend the suspension of its flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran until September 24 inclusive, and until October 26 for Beirut, due to tensions in the region.

“Due to the current situation, the Lufthansa Group is once again adapting its flight schedule,” Europe’s largest airline group said in a statement, after having repeatedly changed its flight schedule in the region, like other airlines in recent weeks.
