Donald Trump promises to “steal jobs from other countries” if elected

With tax cuts and high tariffs, candidate Donald Trump says he wants to “steal jobs” and “factories” from foreign countries and attract them to US soil.

Donald Trump on Tuesday promised to “steal jobs from other countries” if re-elected, with “very high” tax cuts and tariffs.

“But now we’re going to attack their jobs and bring them back to America where they belong,” he told supporters gathered in the US state of Georgia.

To this end, Donald Trump, who had placed his presidency (2017-2021) under the banner of “America First”, pledged to create special economic zones on federal lands “with very low taxes and regulations.”

“German factories are becoming American”

On the contrary, the former president said that manufacturers would pay “very high” customs duties if they did not manufacture their products in the United States.

“I want German car companies to become American,” the presidential candidate declared on November 5.

Donald Trump, who is neck and neck in the polls against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, has said that the “horrible nightmare” facing American workers “will end the day I am sworn in.”

The septuagenarian also painted a very dark picture of a Harris presidency, saying that businesses would “run away,” in particular because of her agenda to combat global warming.

The American state of Georgia, where he spoke, is one of the most hotly contested for the presidential elections in November.
