What are the advantages that digitalization brings to the agricultural world?
Digitalisation is an area of delegation when it comes to monitoring events on a farm. In a context where hiring is difficult, farmers are looking for solutions to do more with less manpower, and these digital solutions are valuable in bringing serenity and comfort to work. They also allow for improved breeding thanks to precise tools, which save time in certain key stages of breeding.
In this context, does IOTEE choose user-friendly solutions?
Any technological innovation brings multiple applications, but farmers work with living beings more than with their phones and do not have time to be under an avalanche of notifications.
The IOTEE concept is based on a central database that communicates with a sensor. This system, based on a complex data platform and elaborate data science work, is enriched with different functionalities that allow offering several indicators within a single sensor. Its use is simplified: once the sensor is installed, the breeder receives the relevant indicators at the right time and can share them with his partners or employees.
Are you launching a new range, MOZAE, which sets you apart from the rest of the market due to its various technological options?
We have decided to enter a new era of our profession. To circulate data, we have integrated three different communication systems into our sensors, which can be activated according to different uses. No other solution offers this, and this opens up a wide range of changes in uses, which will come from 2025 and 2026.
Through our interface we will be able to restore both our indicators and data from other systems used by the breeder. This interoperability and interconnectivity constitutes IOTEE’s differentiating know-how, in a world where players generally focus on their respective solutions.
Nowadays, in the monitoring solutions market, sensors are sold with integrated software. To change or upgrade it, the sensor needs to be replaced. IOTEE offers continuous improvement of our sensors and their algorithms, which can be updated remotely and automatically.
Is the group’s identity evolving to mark a turning point in its history?
We have changed our identity because we have changed our ambitions. Previously, we had a relationship with an exclusive partner for the design of sensors and algorithms. Due to an evolution of this relationship, we have decided to show our ambition to be designers and producers of solutions.
The experience of the Seenergi Group and the Genes Diffusion Group has enabled us to develop a new range of innovative solutions. With the support of Sofiproteol, an investment subsidiary of the Avril Group, we will be the only farm animal monitoring company in France with 100% French capital, but also agricultural capital, because IOTEE is owned by 30,000 French breeders.
