Cathy Guetta launches the first DJ booking app for events

Identified for several years in the world of nightlife, Cathy Guetta collaborated with Raphaël Aflalo to develop Djaayz, an application that allows you to find a DJ to provide musical entertainment for a personal or professional event.

Here’s an app that could find some success quickly: Djaayz. Its concept is to connect people looking for a DJ to animate a personal event (birthday, wedding) or in a professional environment (company seminars, shops, hotels, sports halls, bars).

And who else than Cathy Guetta, known worldwide for her parties organized in Ibiza, to carry out such a project? David Guetta’s ex-wife has once again teamed up with Raphaël Aflalo, with whom she created the My Love Affair agency in 2011, which develops advertising campaigns and operations involving brands and celebrities from the world of music.

A personalized tab for each of the 1,700 DJs

Currently available in France and the United Kingdom, the application works based on a geolocation system that allows you to find an available DJ among the 1,700 DJs selected by the company, for styles of music ranging from electro to pop to hip -hop or even rock. The prices offered in the application, available on the App Store and Google Play, vary between 200 and 3,000 euros per 90-minute session and the company charges a 20% commission for each service.

The client must indicate the date and place of the event, the style of music they are looking for and their budget to be offered a list of available providers. Each DJ has a personalized file that includes biographical information, their musical styles, photos and videos of their performances, their prices, links to their social networks, as well as notes and comments from clients who have already requested it.

A first fundraising of one million euros

Djaayz has already received significant financial support by raising funds of one million euros from a dozen private investors, including Romain Afflelou (AAsons Fund), Pierre-Emmanuel Evreux (Leia), Thierry Boyer (ex-Webedia) or Jonathan Belolo at the initiative of Stage 11 (virtual stage in the metaverse). The latter obtained in exchange 20% of the company’s capital.

A second similar operation should allow up to three million euros to be raised to accelerate the development of Djaayz at an international level, prioritizing Germany, the west coast of the United States… and Ibiza of course.
