The violent rains that fell in the Odessa region, in southern Ukraine, left at least nine dead, including a child, emergency services said on Wednesday, October 1.
“Throughout the night, rescuers helped evacuate people trapped by floods, free cars, to pump water from buildings,” emergency services on Telegram said, publishing photos of submerged cars or rescuers who help residents.

The mayor of Odessa Genenadiï Toukhanov had reported at night that the two -month equivalent of usual precipitation had fired in seven hours in the city.
“No sewerage network can withstand such load,” he added.
This mortal bad weather occurs when Ukraine continues to suffer a daily bombing of the Russian army, which controls about 20% of its territory three and a half years after the launch of its large large -scale invasion.
