The Israeli army announced on Wednesday, October 1 that it would block the last access to the Northern Gaza Strip from the south of the Palestinian territory from noon.
“The inhabitants of Gaza, Rue al-Rachid, will be closed to traffic from the southern area of the band from noon,” said an Arabic statement in Arabic by a spokesman, Colonel Avichay Adraee, on his social networks, while the Israeli army intensifies his offensive in Gaza-Ville, in the north of the Palestinian territory.
“The transition to the South will be authorized for those who have not yet been able to evacuate the city of Gaza. At this stage, the Israeli army allows the south to pass freely and without control,” added the press release.
